JASON institute is a Dutch student organization founded in 1975. Before the end of the Cold War JASON focused primarily on Atlantic relations. After this period JASON enlarged its field of interest due to global changes. Nowadays the foundation focuses on international peace- and security issues in its broadest sense. The aim of JASON is providing students a wider understanding about issues concerning international security.

Visit to the International Court of Justice
After visiting the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, JASON deepens its focus on the world of international law with a visit to the International Court of Justice. This is one of the most important juridical institutions of the United Nations that solves conflicts between states. The court will open its doors especially for JASON on the 19th of March.
